Join us for the next SITE Seminar! On April 22, 2025, Nicolas Gavoille (Latvijas Banka) will present his study on how Latvian firms responded to the 2022 Russia-Ukraine trade shock and EU sanctions. Using administrative data and machine learning analysis, the research reveals that firms with lower exposure to Russia adapted more easily, while highly exposed firms faced significant losses.
