Fostering social impact in developing countries via novel social networks
The Geneva Challenge is an annual contest which encourages master students to bridge the gap between their studies and real development policy by devising innovative and practical proposals for effecting change. The Challenge was created by Swiss Ambassador Jenö Staehelin and under the patronage of late Kofi Annan. In 2020, three SSE MSc in International Business students alongside a MSc Autonomous System student from KTH won the European round of the Geneva challenge with their innovative digital app GerBound. The app directly connects the Mongolian diaspora with opportunities to financially support Mongolian community impact projects that tackle multidimensional poverty, climate change and interconnected socio-economic issues.

Join three of the project founders for a lunchtime conversation about their winning idea and how it can facilitate positive social change.
